Finally I'm not in Second Place. Although the results of my day of fishing at PaddlePalooza 8 was not as I had hoped I did take first in the Redfish Division with a 7.85 lb "slot redfish".
What I am most proud about, however, was working with a team of volunteers to organize and successfully run the largest Kayak Fishing tournament in Louisiana history. PaddlePalooza 8 had 176 registered anglers. According to some reports that puts it in 3rd place all time for kayak tournies (I'm not too sure about this but it's still exciting).
Over the course of the day I failed to take any pictures of my trip. I'm sorry to say I'm not much of a videographer. I look forward to relaxing and getting some trips in soon to fish without pressure. See you on the water!
