What happens when you get more kayaks than your garage can handle? You break out the power tools. So here is a shot of my garage. Three boats on the trailer and three on the floor. To go fishing I have to move kayaks up down and all around! Hate it!
So I started out just building a "ladder" with enough room for the yak and the high rise seating. This is going to be my Wild Rack.
Then I framed it out.
Added the wheels and here's the finished product. With the tri hulls I built it with runners for easy storage and moving back and forth. It took me 6 hours to build but this is by far the most complicated building project I've undertaken without guidance.
