Well yesterday's trip was a mixed bag. 3 men: 6 reds, 15+trout, lot's of dinks. Sounds OK except one fishing buddy caught most of the fish. So you take solace in the journey. Tough conditions played a major factor and so one thinks to himself: "I had a good time, and got a great workout." But it was more than that:
Many love the saying: "Life is about the Journey" but I've come to believe it's about "who you travel with" the journey is actually not that critical. I'm blessed with good friends but most important I am blessed to know the good God who loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten son - that we might have eternal life.
Praise the Lord.
