It's cool outside this morning and many anglers south of I 10 are thinking:
It's all about transition the cold fronts mean the trout will move inshore where we kayakers have a fair chance to catch them. And catch them we shall!
But before you get out there you need to gear up so here's an old post on winter gear. You can go fancier or cheaper based on your budget but this is the starting point:
